Splotts Moor is Proudly Green!

As a small, family-run venture, we are very proud of our ethical and environmental approach. We encourage the use of recycled products, and recycle what we can. Splotts Moor provides reusable tableware and cutlery to guests, and whenever possible, local, like-minded businesses are used for any services that we cannot provide ourselves. 

We have invested heavily in renewable energy, in the past with wind power, and now with solar power. In 2004, we planted 18,000 trees, as well as a reed bed to filter waste. We feel that being ecologically responsible is vital to maintaining our beautiful surroundings, and it is as important as the warm welcome we will have waiting for you.
